Water Stream Pressure Deck is built by nomads, for nomads — a team of 14 location-independent people spread across 9 countries, unified by our belief that work and adventure aren't mutually exclusive.
In 2021, our founder Kenji Matsuda quit his finance job in Tokyo and bought a one-way ticket to Lisbon. Within a week, he'd encountered what every new nomad faces: confusing visa information, outdated cost guides, and coworking spaces with unreliable Wi-Fi.
He started keeping a personal spreadsheet of every city he visited — tracking internet speeds, monthly costs, coworking quality, and visa rules. When he shared that spreadsheet on Twitter, it went viral. 40,000 downloads in the first week.
That spreadsheet became Water Stream Pressure Deck. Today, we're a team of 14 full-time nomads maintaining what we believe is the most accurate, most practical, and most human resource for people who want to work and live anywhere in the world.
We don't take advertising from coworking spaces or cities. Our reviews are independent. Our data is community-verified. Our mission is simple: make the global remote work lifestyle accessible to anyone willing to take the leap.

We'd rather publish less information that's accurate than more that's guesswork. All our data is community-verified and updated monthly.
We don't take paid placements or advertising from the cities, coworking spaces, or services we review. Our trust is non-negotiable.
We advocate for slow travel, deep cultural engagement, and leaving communities better than you found them. Not just moving, but belonging.
The best nomad resource isn't a company — it's a community. Everything we build is designed to connect people and share knowledge.
We prioritize actionable, specific information over aspirational lifestyle content. We tell you what things actually cost and what problems you'll actually face.
Nomad resources have historically been written for US and EU passport holders. We're building resources for nomads from every country.
We work from wherever we are — Tokyo, Lisbon, Medellín, Tbilisi. None of us has a permanent office, and we wouldn't have it any other way.
